Marine researcher used to be my dream job as a child. I read a lot of the “Was ist Was” books about the deep sea 🐠, whales 🐋 and sharks 🦈. It must be super interesting. I wish you lots of fun (and I'm a bit jealous)

The focus of BIOcean5D is on holobionts, with lots of marine microbiology, DNA sequencing campaigns etc. Not much in terms of vertebrates😉

Nevertheless, sounds interesting and I assume that in the end the condition of micro organisms also affect the vertebrates. 🐋
