Oregon Trail. It was my favorite motivator...I would do all the homework I needed to in order to get time to play. It felt like I was really immersed and experiencing the trials and tribulations of that historical timeline. I will always go for passionate engagement over wrote memorization.

I never played either game. But I'm willing to bet it's Oregon Trailer that's the better edu game. There is a lot more freedome in choices you can make in Oregon Trailer that isn't present in the other game.
