Good on Ossoff. He's up in 2026 and is a freshman in a purple state, going against the wishes of his party's leader in the Senate. If he can be pressured to vote "no," the remaining holdouts can also be pressured to do the same.

Call on them to remove Schumer, No on cloture, and if it reaches 60 a single senator can object to unanimous consent to fast track the final vote and force them to wait until Tuesday for the final vote.

It’s a calculation.

The irony here is that Schumer worries Trump Admin want the shutdown, bc IT gives Trump Admin unprecedented powers.
1) In a shutdown, Congress loses the power of the purse.
2) If the shutdown causes civil unrest and/or economic chaos, Trump could invoke emergency powers.
But I’m stuck in the 90s 🤷🏼‍♂️
