academic freedom is under attack. Academics are gonna have to put down their journals and research to fight the bigger threat of dictatorship. Sorry to say, but so far, the response of academia has been virtually nothing. College campuses are totally quiet. Why?

I wonder if it's the "in violation of Federal anti-discrimination laws" part of the policy - what laws (not EOs) are they going to show are being violated? Institutions may be waiting to see what grants might be cancelled in response, as a basis for the litigation.
