Get in touch with the closest Dem representative and ask them to have a town hall in your district since your rep won’t do it. invite the most likely Dem challenger to the current office holder to appear alongside them.

Dems haven't won my district in more than 40 years. Jerry Falwell used to be Boss Hogg around here and even though he's been dead for years, his influence still lives on. It's an unwinnable battle.

I get it. But if you can hold an “empty chair” town hall and take video, even with a small crowd of angry locals, that can create really compelling clips and build a sense of an oncoming wave! It’s worth a try.

Get a rubber chicken and make a sign with your rep’s name on it, put it in the chair!

Buy a rubber chicken, put a sign on it with the name of your rep, prop it up on the chair. Write a press release that says “REP X IS TOO CHICKEN TO SHOW UP”

Our former local rep was famous for sending staffers to handle his "town halls" and not going himself. People showed up with "Have You Seen This Man?" posters and called the local news.
