Sorry. Realise that’s what @columnist.bsky.social was referring to above. What happened to all those concerns about sovereignty and the EU superstate that drove Brexit, which Labour doesn’t want to reverse. Or fears that a bad actor (China/Russia) might compromise our security?

As I said a while back, a government of timid middle managers without any clear vision might be tolerable in certain circumstances but these are very fair from such.

Then again it’s very hard to think of a UK government of the last 50 years which could cope.
