Nothing Democratic about our corrupt Westminster system of Government. Unelected House of Cronies and an undemocratic voting system we share only with Belarus in Europe .
Centralised Westminster power has delivered UK, nine out of the ten poorest regions in Northern Europe.
I didn't mention EU democratic structure or France, although their presidential PR voting system does deliver electorate with choice, and eventual winner has a majority of votes, which isn't the case in UK Gov elections although devolved assembly elections are more democratic
Musk seems to believe his Reform party have a chance of taking office one day
Zero.chance we would EVER allow a racist clown to run.our government
Alas America has too.learn the hard way
He has inserted himself into teh White House, possibly Reform and has publicly backed the Afd in Germany. He is trying to unite a global Fascist movement, with him as leader. This man is the biggest danger to society since the 1930's.
If reform gains in popularity it will have little to do with X or Elon Musk and everything to do with people feeling poorer and poorer since the financial crisis.
Brexit was invented by Putin to destabilize Europe. He added bombing of Syria for mass migration that continues to destabilize EU and to use it to have far right win elections.
The causes - financial crisis, Brexit, COVID, globalization - are in many ways irrelevant, the two main parties have been swapping power and people feel poorer, reform will be the main beneficiary.
Keir Starmer's party is now averaging just 26.6%, despite winning one of the largest-ever majorities five months ago.
The year's biggest winner by far is Reform UK. It’s more-than-doubling and is the fourth-biggest jump seen in a calendar year in peacetime sitting at 21%.
It’s true that these three represent a huge threat, & we need to see a lot more urgency around dealing with the big/dark money corrupting our democracy.
Not convinced that “there’s nothing we can do about it”, though. Don’t underestimate the Faragists, but don’t ignore their weakness, either…
…IMO, their greatest weakness is that their whole operation rests on one man.
Without Farage, they’re nothing. We’ve seen the results of a real world experiment in taking Farage out of his party. As soon as he left Ukip, the party collapsed back into fringe irrelevance.
… need backers with deep pockets & the cover provided by a generally sympathetic, uncritical media. But they also need to attract voters & to do that, they need Farage. None of their other people, from the oligarch Tice to that MP who was jailed for kicking his girlfriend, have his charisma or…
… or otherwise undermine Farage personally. Keep up the pressure on the party’s single potential point of failure, & don’t even bother with the rest - without him they’re nothing.
Of course, the media establishment will cover for Farage & his rich backers will use lawfare to try to kill any…
OK, he’s well defended from personal political attacks, but there’s still only one of him & I’m certain he’s got a lot of dodgy/embarrassing stuff to hide. We only have to get lucky once - he will have to be lucky always.
And there’s also a non-zero chance that the Reform…
Musk is becoming almost delusional, believing he can own the world. He throws his wealth around & buys governments while everyone is either scared shitless of repercussions or are in awe of his wealth-both of which is what gives him power. Tell him to GFY & let him flounder in his psychosis.

Macron got 20% of the vote in France
People in glass houses comes for mind James
As for Macron ...obviously if u lose someone after each round of voting u will inevitably get a majority 4 someone
If that's hated by the majority (like now) it's not really conducive 2 governance is it
Denying that is childish
As is think "you" would win i a different system
So be careful what you wish for is my advice
Both dangerous men

It would be incredibly unwise to think it happened to America but can’t happen to you.
Look at Musk/Trump/Putin/Billionaire’s playbook. Get wise to the WAR being waged.

Opponents don’t (yet) have to take on a whole political organisation, just a single cult leader.
My take is that Farage’s political opponents should focus exclusively on attacks that hurt, embarrass,…
