The fact that Reform got 15% vote for them, Elon musk wanting to financially back Farage, the riots and carnage at the hint an immigrant might have committed a crime, which that person was not.
I know what you're talking about, I'm saying it doesn't wash anymore, because we had exactly the same threats before the last election. "You want the Tories to stay in power", which is exactly what we got.
Keep the people around you honest. Remember the Nigel Farage that had a milkshake thrown in his face why. Wanting to blame immigrants for everything didn’t solve anything
I think, by now, the political spectrum in Westminster has moved so far to the right that Keir and chums would consider they're right there, *in* the middle ground!
You mean there was no political will to go back. There's huge public support for change, to take utilities into public ownership, to build more council housing. But the politicians, and those who pull their strings, are against it. Shame cos there's never been a better time.
We need to run ads and articles about the benefits of refugees. Show them doing well and giving back to the country. Please do this it’s a sound way of turning the tide of hatred against them.
Before saying anything I haven't ever replied and do not condone swastikas. I do read what Zionist politicians say.

I'm Jewish, I do not agree with the eradication of a race of people.
Israel was given to make up for the holocaust. It was occupied, & 80 years on there has been a continuous eradication that now looks like the final solution.
I'm not prejudice, & I don't hate myself but am ashamed of Israel.
This will do nothing to convince the people baying for immigrant blood to vote for labour and everything to convince the rest of us not to vote for them
trumps win is a wake up call. I see Labour’s job as learning from that and destroying the reform message that fairness doesn’t apply in the UK. There are things to be ashamed of our history and we need perspective on that, letting reform get the upper hand would be one more of those
Labour have already shown they will not do that. Their leadership is ideologically opposed to giving any leanway towards the left. For elections, vote green. And get ready to march to protect vulnerable minorities.
To ensure a noticeable improvement in quality of life. That will attract and keep voters from across the board. Engaging in a race to the bottom with Reform is pointless: their core membership will vote for them come what may, and everyone else is alienated.
reform has people who are susceptible to bullying and trickery. If we were trying to communicate with people of a different language we wouldn’t just shout louder or ignore them we adapt our message or tone. We deny the need to see these people and bring them back to what we are is a big a mistake
I don’t disagree. Agreeing with the false narrative they’ve been told to believe isn’t the right way, though. If they see tangible benefit in their lives from the govt that might change their minds. There’s a hard core who will cling to that narrative. But the waverers can be won over.
Didn't need to be splashed all over our screens did it? Weren't we all criticising Patel when she did that? It seems that when the Tories do it, bad, when Labour do it, good.
I can see the reasoning. The footage will likely be played out overseas and counter the false narrative of “a perfect dream” pedelled by profiteering gangs. From a pragmatic political perspective, it also serves a purpose with large pockets of the UK electorate.
"- always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless." George Orwell Nineteen Eighty-four
The labour party haven't been a leftwing project for decades, there was a possibility in 2017 and 2019 but apart from that labour have attacked the vulnerable and the poor.
For God's sake! Can this crowd stoop any lower? They have already proved to be an Animal Farm rehash of the previous lot. (The only measurable difference is their evident contempt for old people.) Now they feel they have to out-perform Reform in vicious, demeaning attacks on immigrants. #labourparty
They are aiming at every vulnerable group. It is despicable and though a lifelong Labour voter I won’t vote for them again. @georgiagould.bsky.social @yvettecooper-mp.bsky.social

The government being present and an agenda for change are sorely missing.
Replies from Owen Jones's followers include memes of Adolf Hitler and Nazi swastikas.

But they pose as "humanitarians" for Palestinians.
But no other group.
Not even their comrades in North Korea.
A true open-air prison, with the worst human rights abuses on earth
Best wishes

But Israel wasn't given to Jews because of thd Holocaust?
See the Balfour declaration in 1917.
My heart is with Palestinian and Israeli civilians.
But not with the genocidal charter of Iran and Hamas, which we saw on 7/10 in action.
That charter rarely mentioned by the Guardian.
As has happened to the Palestines for 80 years.
People of Palestine are dying a slow death like in the camps. It's shameful. Anti Zionist & supporting Palestinian is not anti semitic.
Labour jobs is to counter the argument. They have failed. Now it is down to the public to stop Farage.
Shameful.
If you deal with Home Office officials - you know that all of them are sadists.
