How much of the 0.5% GDP goes to overseas aid?
Johnson/sunak reduced aid from 0.7% to 0.5% and repurposed much of it to pay for their asylum projects. Can’t remember any outcries.
Starmer reduced aid to 0.3% to increase defence and manufacturing and all bad press. Not really fair

Why is it that the rhetoric over the past 14 years is that u can’t have a strong NHS without a strong economy yet that is never said about overseas aid? For 14 years DfD aid has come out of borrowing and we’ve failed to invest
