30 years ago games were a lot more niche, the audiences were much smaller and you had to charge premium to break even but there were SO many more costs within just publishing a game than there are now.

This thing is practically a small computer on its own, look at all these parts, look at the fucking 32 megabytes of RAM inside this thing, for the time? This is stupidly expensive.
