Autism is not a disease, so "the framing of autistic characteristics and behaviours as ‘symptoms’ is misleading, harmful and helps nobody." Instead, others should strive to understand autistic experiences and proceed accordingly. From @fergus.oolong.co.uk:

Autism does not make one feel free to issue a nazi solute
And
Autism does not preclude one from issuing a nazi solute
They are separate and different
things
If an autistic person assumes a Nazi position, assume they are a Nazi 🤷🏻♀️

Only the two part opener, but I was really impressed with it.
To heal people we must heal society. So that these people have a chance to be themselves.
Has nothing to do with autism, which is genetic.
What needs to be healed is society's obsessive clinging to statistical norms. We're on the puter edges of the bell curve, so not "normal." But we have value.
The statement is that the overstimulation of society makes these things worse, and harder, for individuals who live with these conditions.
I agree we must change the norms as well 🌈
