Funny enough Nutella was invented by an Italian during WW2 as the supply of cocoa to Italy couldn’t be guaranteed anymore. Hazelnut was a cheap substitute. Same goes for Fanta that the Germans developed when they couldn’t import Coca Cola any more. So: naaaa. Allergic to Hazelnuts anyway 🤷🏼‍♂️

My mom makes the most amazing yeast waffles for Christmas every year and this year she gave me the recipe card. It was my favorite present and I'm really looking forward to making them, but now I'm thinking about them with Nutella so thank you, that does sound delicious.

We have to take any small joys where we can find them. ...
To me, over a good few years having a special item or good meal seemed like a Panacea.
The cover-up would work and good feelings (for a couple days or hours) then the news and politics are back. We need the "joy".
