thought it might just be my provider, but these are two completely different sources of the video and they both look AWFUL (I think ESPN is producing this, though?)

it's upscaled to 4K, and with a good amount of noise reduction, but it's certainly the best way to watch (it's also about in sync with my direct cable feed)
I run on a htpc that produces GREAT HD quality on almost every other platform (YoutubeTV for in network games, other less (ahem) licit sources for non network games).
How does transmission work in a scenario like this? Produced by ESPN, but broadcast by another network. Is there an extra "pass through" that causes the noise, poor video? Are the streaming feeds transmitted differently so better quality?

Watching through YouTube TV channels of TNT and TBS was poor. Max is much better, for whatever reason.
Is it actually ABC/ESPN or a local contractor?
It's only amazon's games that glitch out.
