Ah yes the well balanced divisions of college football. Well renowned for its competitive games across the country. And a few years into the NIL experiment, things couldn't look better.
I am not a USC fan by the way, but given how everything went after the Auburn snub, watching USC get sanctioned over Reggie Bush as Cam Newton's family gets paid and Nick Fairley stomps on a guy's face, the LSU-Bama rematch... CBSECESPN broke the sport
100%. ESECPN and to some extent CBS spent the late 2000s and 2010s relentlessly promoting the SEC and using its near monopoly status to influence the national championship process (while slow walking a real playoff system). In just one year their fraud narrative has been exposed
Fantastic. Also I don’t really get why SEC fanbases are so caught up in “conference pride” or whatever. I’m a Wisconsin alum, but I will feel no special pride by or any joy whatsoever if O$U wins it.
Nebraska alum/fan here. I didn't love Ohio State when they beat The Huskers, but I'd rather the conference shows out on the big stage than not. I'm paying attention that The Big Ten bowl record is 10-6 as of this morning, and the SEC record is 8-7.
Frontrunner mentality fueled by massive insecurity. These people are also your Cowboy, Laker, Yankee fans (or whatever pro teams are dominant at the moment).

Pulling for the Buckeyes to win it all.
