Good piece. Nexus was my first time back in decade immersing myself in the Irish dev scene. It has improved from mostly student indies & AAA call centers to having a burgeoning AAA space & a more mature indie space. Lots of progress but comparison to Barcelona & Montreal show there's lots to be done

To their credit, NIS do so much to support NI devs at Gamescom. They bring a cohort every year, sometimes covering them fully, and make sure we always have a presence and a meeting table. There's always a crowd of us at the UKIE booth. An all irish booth would be easy to fill, it would be nice c:

I love stories that open my eyes to stories and realities I've never even conceived before. Like, the fact Ireland isn't a gaming hub makes *no* sense, but in the chaotic world we live in, it's not something that's ever been revealed to me. Shack News is lucky to have this piece.
