OOOOOR! Real talk, just using a teaspoon or two of a floral or fruity herbal tea can help someone acclamate to green teas. I firmly believe tea and coffee are equally acquired tastes, as someone who has grown to like both.
Apologies for the earnestposting, I'll see myself out lol
Before you throw away the green tea you should take a moment and appreciate that agave syrup is essentially the exact same thing as high fructose corn syrup and "health nuts" gobble it up as a safer and healthier alternative to sugar.
You could rescue that drink by adding 4 ounces of good Irish whiskey think even bad whiskey might help it. better than throwing it out and besides green tea is good for you
Per doctor's orders, I'm only allowed 1 caffeinated drink per day. The only choice for me is coffee. If it's in the form of a lovely cappuccino that's even better!
This is what I would sound like if I was hating on coffee but the only coffee I ever had was from a vending machine in a gas station bathroom. Dollars to donuts you’ve only had stale tea crumbs in a paper bag that tastes like a paper bag.
I love green tea, but I'm with you on coffee in the morning. My twin, who is my other half at Post Hypnotic Press, always says, "there is no such thing as strong coffee. Only weak people."
Betcha fifty bucks that all these peeps who hate on green tea are using boiling water, without realizing that it needs to be prepped at like 160F to avoid that bitterness. Its like hating on chocolate cakes cuz you keep baking them at 1200F.
...this is absolutely correct...
I had to drink green tea for a while and the difference btwn using the 160F h2o vs the boiled h2o is like night and day...but I love the chocolate cake analogy more!
I had no idea about this. I just woke up so please forgive what is probably a very obvious answer but how can you tell when it's at 160? Is there a specific kettle with temperature settings? Use a meat thermometer? I live to learn new things.
Instead of silly Fahrenheit ones? No worries. Thank you. I'll check to see if I can get one in the states. (Before the stupid tariffs go into effect). 👍
Also water boils at around 212 F, so you can get close by catching it as initial tiny bubbles start to form but before a full boil. I have not tested this scientifically but it does alright by my tastebuds.
Oh I'll also follow this up, steeping time is super important. Most teas have a range from 2-5 minutes of steeping time, after which it'll start to get really bitter. This varies based on what kind of tea you're making.
Love green tea and black tea and some herbals. But breakfast is for coffee..Just ground beans in the chemex or, for a little more edgy the French press. I am not really me until that hit of coffee!

I love it!

Fantastic
I'm the type that enjoys both green tea and black coffee, so I'm here for the comments :-)

Nahh, scratch that. 2 shots of vodka will do it! ☕️👋👀
But snorting my coffee out of my nose at this...

Sounds like a plan

Makes a world of difference if you actually do it right...
You need gin, olives, and vermouth. Pour them in a glass, and then throw that shit in the trash and drink whiskey like a man.
Period.
So, bring coffee, Love.
It's a rule.
Just have the coffee first
