Very kind of you, thanks! I lived downtown for a very long time and about a year ago moved full-time to my other home in peaceful, pretty Elora. My archives are a mix of urban flavour and rural Ontario for the most part. I usually sidestep political commenting, but we are in a crisis now. Go Canada!

P.S. The expedited agenda to make it easier for our provinces to do business with each other is an idea past its due, and heartens me. We need to respond to Trump's next list of inanities with vigour and determination. My sympathies for your husband. I cannot imagine his inner turmoil.

I spent nearly ten years living in Toronto (for work) and also Elora, but the city has become ragged and with reduced quality of life. I missed my family people too much to continue and am now loving the Elora vibe. The village is growing but retains its charm. VERY sad about the USA. Disgusted.

I have a documentary about how quickly this planet began to regenerate during the pandemic lockdowns. It is astounding that our species can wreak such havoc on the entire world and all of its lifeforms.
