Trump is a narcassist with some immaturity at the heart of his nature. There are times when he is cowed and beguiled by a grown-up. Starmer was that today. He stood up to Vance infront of Trump & clearly gave Trump a good run in negotiations.

It looks a lot worse than that now. Starmer just buddies up with a guy who then acted in direct opposition to the UK position 24 hours later. And that's speaking as a Labour party member. He's made himself look incredible weak and foolish.
