It's web-based and not at all sexy, but the "closest stops to me" works great. I know all the apps use same data but I like that it's coming directly from WMATA for some reason.
I'm an experienced rider so I don't need route planning, just: when is my bus coming.
Agree with this. I typically use Transit to plan out a route, but buseta on the web is the best for seeing real time where the buses are, what stop they’re at, when they’ll arrive etc.
I was buseta for years for above good reasons, but fwiw after I tried transit app - bc I started working in MoCo - I now swear by it. it's buseta plus all regional transit plus a live tansit tracking map, and it's global.
I use Transit for when I know what bus I want, or when I’m trying to figure out what bus stops are nearby. I use CityMapper to do step-by-step directions.
