On the flip side some people are not in employment participation and not on benefits but are under the radar living with elderly parents because the effort to get new start benefits is too hard and mentally stressful , in fact the government leave you alone if not on benefits or welfare

But continues to drive the whole welfare system.
Including so-called 'mutual obligation', and its dodgy, punitive, and possibly illegal implementation.

Last time we had high inflation (1974-75) this became a recession with high unemployment which is economically insoluble. The term dole bludger appeared at this time, so rather than accepting things for what they were, Liberals and our media blamed the victims and have been doing so ever since.
