I just completed my 24th donation of platelets this year, which brings me to 76 donations total. I know of some folks who’ve done 250 or even 650 lifetime donations! 👀

HOLY SHIT WOW!!!!!!!!!!! in germany i can only do 4 blood donations a year 🥲 men can do 6, but women max out on 4 🙃 It's what makes the 100 number so impressive to me!!!!

does platelets take ages for you too? I've considered doing it, but my donation place says you need 2-3 hours to do it which always seems SO LONG!!! but this is inspiring me to ask about it again in the spring!

Here in the US the max whole blood is 6/year but platelets is 24/yr.
