She is home now and okay, but Lacy gave us a huge scare this afternoon. I thought she was having a stroke. Couldn’t walk straight, falling over, eyes doing this weird shifty thing.

That's wonderful! We had a cat who actually *did* have a stroke. Believe me, you avoided a serious financial hit. It was worth it, though She lived another 10 years, never had another, and died peacefully at the ripe old age of 24. Here's hoping Lucy does as well.
