Once they hit their thirties (the decade when pretty much everyone forgets how old they are), year 2000 babies will be sitting pretty, watching in detached amusement as all their friends blank on their own age and then have to quickly do the math of subtracting 1997 from 2033.
However, in later years they will experience greater cognitive decline than adjacent cohorts due to not having to continually exercise their brains with basic maths problems.
My daughter is one! I have used her age to calculate her brothers' ages ('98 and '03). Between Jan and Apr, only two have had their birthday and then there's an alternate set of calculations.
Also, I was between 30 and 40 when our kids were born, so I had baby-brainfog and age uncertainty of my own🤪

[turns to dust]
I know people are continuously coming along younger than me.
*Intellectually*.
Emotionally… I’m really struggling with feeling like I should still be 30.
Imagine being born in December 2000, and it only matches for a few weeks 🤣
