I actually don't think this is merely a distraction. I try to be thoughtful about what I post because there are so many awful things happening. They're flooding the zone. But I recognize this playbook. People always underestimate how far he'll go.

It will never happen. It needs a super majority in both houses or 3/4 of all the states to agree with it in order to amend the constitution. The only way he can stay is to literally tear up the constitution and be installed as a king, emperor or dictator. The entire military will not back this.

The constitution as written isn’t that easily overturned. The wording is clear. SCOTUS cannot amend the constitution-period. Only Congress can do that. They CAN interpret the wording and apply scope to their interpretation-we have seen-there is no such thing as “settled law” with their interprets
