There is a cardinal pair that has lived close by for several years. I've fed them every day, and worry when I don't hear them. They've survived a few hurricanes and continue to bring babies for me to see.

That’s cool! Our feeder is at the back of the yard, so no one gets a closeup. They’re such masters at cracking those sunflower seeds & spitting out the shells!
Now I know how to position that pistachio that won’t open, in my teeth to crack the shell…things I learned from a bird

4 years ago, I moved from a suburban area to a rural northern Minnesota area, and to my great disappointment, there are no Cardinals here. I have to settle for owls, raptors, woodpeckers, and every other backyard bird, but no Cardinals. The Piliateds are fun.

It’s a Birdfy made by Netvue. If you get one, make sure you pay a lil extra for the little solar panel so you never have to worry about charging it or keeping it plugged in etc

It’s a Birdfy- if you get one, my tip is to put it as close to where the router is located in the house as possible. Also, pay the extra for the small solar panel to keep it charged forever
