It's because of this account that I realized that power strips are not for heavy load devices like space heaters and now I shout it at everyone all the time

I used to have a window A/C attached to a power strip that was attached to another power strip. Don't remember why since I know that the regular cord could reach the outlet. Surprised nothing bad ever happened, it was that way for years.

I learned the hard way many years ago that hair dryers do NOT play well with extension cords. The dryer cord exploded while I was using the dryer. Thankfully I wasn't hurt but it scared me to pieces. Never again.
