FYI - undercovered by the press, Spanberger was on the Ag committee and co-authored several bipartisan bills protecting farmers and ag more generally.

That's great. But I remember her publicly lecturing Dems that if they want to win elections around the country they'll have to mimic her and be a centrist. It was a slam against the economic-progressive House members - a warning not to be like @aoc.bsky.social. Or Bernie Sanders.

And she is right...in some places. Spanberger won a red district, she did it by focusing on local issues. She also tried to force congress to get out of stock trading completely. She is plenty liberal, when it makes sense for her constituents. I suspect she gets along fine with AOC.
