I think the consensus is these are the official President and Vice President accounts and that people reporting this were already following those accounts.

I can promise my sister was no following either of those people. I can’t guarantee anything past that.

I may have worded that poorly. I think these accounts were until today President Biden and Vice President Harris; the change in administration changed the identity of the account holders. Unless you sister wasn't following either of them, in which case I'm baffled too.
