Because if porn is not Canadian programming, it’s just moral line-drawing by the Commission. We innovate streaming methods, train workers, and create work as valuable as any media.

Honestly, to me, the crucial thing is that speech is speech, film making is film making, and to arbitrarily treat one kind differently because of how many clothes the cast are wearing is absurd. GOT didn't stop being art when it had sex scenes. Art about sex is still art

Porn, by definition, is titillating media with neither cultural nor artistic merit. If you want to insist that two out of every three pornographic things shown to Canadians is "Bertha does Moose Jaw" go for it, but cultural arguments will fail.

You've listed all my reasons - we innovate streaming, tech is shaped by our work, we develop new forms of artistic experimentation, and we are cutting edge in accessibility. I don't know any other independent art form that puts so much emphasis on captioning / audio only options.
