As someone else said, I think going for a much higher contrast helmet (while leaving the shoulders in magenta) will help.

Hmm. That's a thought. I'm doing Guardians with white helmets. I'll see when I've got them a bit nearer finished if that works. White does often help guys look fancier.

Thanks for the thoughts. I've got plenty of models to work on, so I'll see if anything from some of the other models sparks something in me. Definitely liking bits and pieces of this but not sold on it yet. I'll have another one of these to paint up at some point soon too so I'll have another chance

For sure! Yea it's always a trial and error process with a new scheme or new model. I'm actually trying to figure out my own Eldar scheme at the moment so we'll see how it goes on my end 😅

Or purple helmet and change the face plate to white.

Also consider an eye color too just as is as well. That might also be all you need
