Canada's Child Benefit is basically a basic income for kids. Its multiplier effect is $2 per $1. The poor and middle class have much higher propensities to consume than the rich. A rich person only needs so many pants. Millions of people need millions of pants. Tax the pants off the rich and do UBI.
