Why is it always OK to tolerate bullying and pro Nazi speech, but not to advocate for human rights? Seems very one-sided to me. (Almost like "free speech" is code rather an actual idea)
Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.
Also Editorial boards: "Speech that makes you uncomfortable should be protected. Speech that makes wealthy donors and stockholders uncomfortable should be brutally silenced."
