The whole arguments gotta be the dumbest thing I’ve seen people complain about, if you feel that way then follow that. Many of us know our own store’s grocery prices though and that $150 is more than Uber 6x. Maybe it’s just in my state, but Uber only costs me $20 to order food. Way cheaper.

Nada.
Zip.
Ordering from DoorDash/delivered/restaurant dining is not cheaper than eating at home.
That is a fact.
Eat where you want. Eat what you want. But enough with the riduculousness.
You said 6x so lets say $240 to be generous.
$150 for one shopping trip to last 2 weeks =$10.71 per day, or $5.35 per meal.
That is quite high per meal, but doing the math on the numbers you have that is a substantial saving.
Cuz Im thinking it wasnt.
And people need groceries other than UBER/Doordash meals. Not going to buy that person doesnt purchase tea/ coffee or other drinks, snacks, maybe fruit etc.
This is just ridiculous.
Delivery may be more convenient. And that's cool.
But enough with the "it's cheaper" myth - especially if you are tipping even the bare minimum - which imo is 5 bucks.
Enough with the “I base everyone’s grocery store prices on mine because I think I’m the center of everything”😂
And it is not an opinion. It's a fact /shrug.
I dont care what you spend your money on.
As long as you arent complaining that you cant afford necessities/and or save money while you spend money on frequent food delivery.
You want to make the argument. Go ahead and provide evidence.
Or else you are just sharing your ignorant opinion to try to squeeze some dopamine. Also while shilling for a terrible industry. I don't know you, but if I did you'd be a disappointment.
If your fast food prices are on the whole cheaper than grocery shopping; you are the outlier.
That is to say that your lived experience is not moot. You must consider that your experience is not the experience of the majority.
I have no reason to believe they were lying about that.
Further up the thread they explained they also use a monthly subscription that allows them free delivery and I would assume some gratuity to the driver.
