Interesting observation: British people don't react when you call out, "Dude!" This guy on a bike rode by me and dropped his phone. I grabbed it and yelled, "Dude!" In America, everyone would have looked. In London, no one did. Only when a man called out, "Pardon me!" did the guy come back.

An interesting thing is that an American accent is closer to the original British accent than is now spoken in the UK. Period English pieces should use US actors.
