by Masha Gessen (recommended by HCR) and learned so much about DT's first term (even after being 64 when I lived through it + COVID isolation).

Where are our heroes now? Reminder: If just seven - 7 - SEVEN of the GOP Congressional representatives - Senators and House members - would switch to Independent and caucus with Democrats, Trump’s reign of cruelty would be slowed and perhaps stopped. The GOP does not have seven courageous members.

I have been stalked, threatened for 30 years by the Religious Right coming directly to my front door. Friends in MO have been threatened regularly by the new Klan, skinheads. Several I know have stood up and faced down, and yes, some have died doing it. Be prepared.
