If you got married and changed your name, you may not be able to register to vote if the SAVE Act passes. This law will impact millions of married women, as well as trans folks. This is not a joke, call your Congresspeople.

I am sorry but you seriously think women in the USA are not going to get persuasive against the GOP taking this right? Where do you live? Most of us are not prima donna gold diggers willing to step aside & we rule our house.
I’m going through this with ct driver license to qualify as federal id to fly even domestically (3 marriages, so far over $150 in state certified documents)
You don’t HAVE to change your last name OR you can require each spouse to assume the last name of the other OR you can just live together. Not a win for family unification.
Well, suppress voter rights with these ridiculous voter ID laws and it may become the main thing for married women in order to retain identity, citizenship rights and voter privileges
