Your 1A rights are being eroded, you're at the mid/end game. US unemployment rate is 4%, that's considered 'full employment'. They can't restaff that many people, there's not enough qualified people. Union workers are a good place to start.

A general strike requires coordination among every major union and thousands of community groups. Planning strike funds. Years of planning. If you think you can just yell "general strike" and make it happen, you're deluded. And don't care about the people that will be affected.
We’ve been organizing since Roe v Wade was overturned. And are working on collaboration with unions. It will take a while but we aren’t giving up on it.
This is the way! People posting memes about "general strike next Monday!" always piss me off. It's just hopium that doesn't get the massive amount of work and organizing that goes into organizing something of that scale in a country of 300 million people.
And yes, that sucks. But if people were aware of things, if they had listened when Project 2025 was being talked about. If the press didn't let the GOP lie about their platform we'd be in a different place; and wouldn't need to find a way to get the information to the ill-informed.

We are in a crisis. But opening/mid-game/end-game are not the level of threat, but the state of resistance.
To continue the chess analogy from which those terms come, you can't castle until you clear your back row; from king to rook.
If you rush, so you can castle, you risk losing early.
But, hard as people on BlueSky find it to believe, the general public is only know *starting* to see what's going on.
So the impetus for "bodies in the street" is still low.
Because it's peddling the idea that nothing serious is being done, and that "one weird trick" could undo all that is happening now.
And it can't.
