Know what's been the worst? (#firstworldproblems) My phone's fingerprint sensor doesn't recognize me. My techy husband hypothesizes that I'm failing "the liveness check."

The irony of not being healthy enough to log into my health system's app makes me laugh-cry.

And yeah, I can eventually get in. But because I also use a password manager with biometric protection, it's a hilariously convoluted adventure.

Obviously for very different reasons, but I understand the frustration, when I do a lot of sanding my fingerprint sensor doesn’t recognize me for a few days after and it’s annoying.

I run into the same thing from rock climbing, which has some similarities to sanding actually, thanks to very gritty (fake) rocks and powdery chalk.

Happily, my fingerprint is now recognized about 50% of the time, which is a legit quality-of-life improvement.
