Ladderback stick armchair in cherry and oak. A lot of experiments all crammed into this one chair and plenty of refinements/improvements to make to the design but I’m excited about the direction it’s going!

This was a challenging glue up with the ladder back and a new style of arm for me, but happy to report only one or two oh shit moments and everything came together well.

Got the seat carved and the undercarriage glued up on this chair I’m working on. After being inspired by the democratic chair I made recently I decided to be a little more bold with the seat carving than on my previous stick chairs.
