Could not agree more! I suspect that the greater danger in our era is not overlooking sepsis, but misclassifying other types as shock as «sepsis» and delaying correct therapy or worse giving harmful therapy. #emimcc

Patients who present in cardiogenic shock often have multiple organ failure and have an elevated lactate. This is NOT SEPSIS. They will be harmed by the “sepsis bundle”. I love that our EM colleagues are being trained at POCUS. 🎩 tip to the authors.
