Reddit's CEO had previously shown an interest in potentially introducing a new type of subreddit with "exclusive content or private areas" that Reddit users would pay to access.

Reddit is the worst social media site from a functionality standpoint. People are begging to leave its corpse behind for something new but discord isn't it. Please paywall it so we can all move on.
Seems only good for low rent meme stuff and techy stuff, needs a mass exodus to bring in the IRL local subs, sports stuff, etc etc. but I admit I haven't gone very far in setting up my experience so maybe it's just me.
