There is some weird rumor going around that artists hate comments on our posts, and that is 100% a lie and I don't know where this originated. Artists eat comments like food. Please remind us we're not spending all this effort to make things just to be met with silence!

the quote post one can vary depending on what circles you are in as the the way that twitter at least had it work a quote becomes its own post and tied to the quoter so if a quote took off more then the og post it can create a feeling in the artist like their work has been 'ratioed' or reposted

Quote tweets of art are like mana from Heaven.

It's like getting a comment AND a reblog at the same time!

It's not stealing engagement. A quote inherently credits the artist!

Every person who sees the quote knows exactly where to find the artist if they want to.
