For my employer, there haven't been any AI related layoffs, but there is pressure to come up with ideas how to integrate LLMs into either our workflow or customer-facing documents. I'm not really certain there's a way to do that in a manner that doesn't involve redoing anything the LLM outputs.

Absolutely correct, the entire thing is a scam done by executives to pocket worker salaries even if it means making the remaining workers' work more.
It was NEVER intended to reduce work, they know it won't reduce work, they know it's a lie and sell and spread the lie in the hopes people believe it.

Not even needed to be that. It’s also just coworkers using ChatGPT which now requires even more review and breaks stuff, as well as difficulty detecting incoming spam as it’s now uniquely generated instead of copied and pasted.

The article was made in the view of and in favor of executives' opinions.
It says that AI is not meeting the expectations of executives, increasing workloads and increasing burnout of workers, they believe it is because workers have yet to understand and harness the full potential of AI.

You're not wrong - the study cited was commissioned by Upwork, a freelancing platform. The article celebrates freelancers as the solution for this AI shortfall rather than full time employees. It's practically an ad. Happy to see the discourse is turning against AI though.
