Loneliness consumes me in a place where cruelty toward animals and rejection of my work isolate me. Some even attack me for feeding stray cats. My only solace is here, where I find people who understand and support what I do.

We feed the stray kitties too. A couple years ago, we trapped this one, got her spayed, bathed, medicine for an infection and rabies vaccine. Then released her where we got her. She visits us several times a day for some food.
This guy was a stray. It took us a year to get him to come in out of the cold. And another year to spend the night. He still likes to punch my Rottweiler in the nose, street habits are hard to shed. He’s discovered that cuddling is frickin awesome. We’re happy he found our porch 3 winters ago.
I get some flak over feeding feral/community cats. More people support me, though.
I pretty much tame them, too. That comes with a risk - the city can claim that they are my pets and have animal control haul them off.
Against that, the Humane Society asked me to feed the cats.
Me and Nagi (my kitty) are cheering you on every day, Younes.
We pray for your success and health to keep providing love and care for the kitties who need it most in this world, thank you for all you do.
