Dense edge cities. As much as I would love to see Minneapolis continue to build up and with more density, my feeling is that more first ring suburbs will continue to build out dense commercial districts to give suburbanites a bit of urbanism closer to their McMansions.

So much of our housing crisis is people who don't want sprawl and people who don't want density not realizing that one of them is going to have to happen to take the pressure off.
