Once again, bsky needs an option to go private, not just delete posts or deactivate, like yesterday. More brigading is coming. The psyops are already here. There need to be more tools than just block, delete, stay silent.

As far as I can tell, the underlying protocol makes this impossible, though I am by no means an expert in the AT protocol.

(I have a “So You’re Being Brigaded” checklist that I reviewed a few weeks ago, which is when I discovered part of my Twitter-era plan wouldn’t work here.)

Yeah I think this is inherent in any kind of federated protocol - all you can do is rely on the goodwill of instance operators to honour requests to not show posts to certain users (or request that your posts not be shared beyond your instance, which kinda defeats the point of federation)
