Just got the nicest rejection from @welkinprize.bsky.social. Nice rejections are almost as welcome as wins.

With so many entries flooding in, that inevitably means lots of not-quite-acceptances flooding out. Because I'm so inundated, most are having to be "standard" declines. If you get a bit of feedback ("I particularly loved..."), that's because it was especially hard to say goodbye to your piece.
