Only way is if russia sells oil to US and Europe refineries very cheaply forever. Like 50$/barrel. Means basically kremlin can buy their way out of war. Otherwise, US does not need kremlin, instead they will need EU with ongoing oil needs. Abundance of US oil will remove dependency on Middle East.
