And I also included two examples of SERPs impacted. WSJ Buyside gone and Men's Journal gone when they were ranking extremely well before the manual actions. The first example for each shows the current SERP and the second screenshot shows the SERP when those sites ranked.

Do you know of any way to just ask Google if they are penalizing your site? We've been in business for 25 years. For industry keywords we used to be 8-16 now we bounce between 78-82. Some sites appear 2 or 3 times in organic before we do. We have no idea whats going on.

If you are manually penalized You will see it in Google Search console. If you want to contact Google about it, my advice would be to hire Marie Haynes.

Oh, search console just lists a bunch of incorrect things like soft 404 on URLs that are operating normally and some perfectly normal 301s.. one URL is listed 11 times as a redirect. Search console is a nightmare.
