I think it's time for the resistance Dems to split from the establishment Dems. We will caucus with you, but we are not beholden to you. MN has a Democrat farmer labor party that has a long history of sending very sharp thinkers to Congress, let's take a national, have a DFL alternative to the DNC
Everyone’s a critic (many who voted for Trump or stayed home and didn’t vote) yet few with answers. How far do Ds stray from the Constitution? Violence? Congressional tricks? I think the D’s will come up with a plan. Now help them out and vote D in the
Mid term elections.
Some of us have seen this coming for a very long time. IMO it’s soon going to get to the point where the teardown is going to accelerate on its own & implode beyond the actors doing the tearing.
Time to buckle down. Sarah & others warned & warned & warned. Almost no one believed me that’s 4 sure.
Can someone please explain why the democrats are doing nothing. I have anxiety off the charts. Nothing is being done to stop the destruction of our government. Hello?
They think there will be more free elections, and they think if they blame the left hard enough for 2024 and then stand back and wait, Americans will forget reality and vote for them, welcoming them as liberators
I remember this passage well and think of it often, particularly the first sentence. Absolutely on point and sadly, absolutely on schedule. Heartbreaking.
I used to think Sarah's "they're in it together" stuff was verging on paranoia. It's impossible to look at what's happening without going
"huh, she was right....again...."
The economy of the 21st century is not about products or services, it's about stock value. And the bright future all stockholders want is where us plebes have no effect on stock value whatsoever. Even now if Tesla would go into bankruptcy and mass layoffs, Musk would still be a billionaire.
No universe yet. That's why I said it is still a future they all are looking forward to. And they are dumb and arrogant enough to believe they can get it.
The purchase of X was financed by putting up Tesla stock as collateral. A sufficiently large drop in Teslas stock will trigger the recall of that debt, but to cover it he could very well have to cannibalize SpaceX. He has built quite a house of cards.
People with half a brain know what's happening, but the complacent congress people are still helping to facilitate it. There is no excuse for their cowardice. I don't care what party your in.
"An election in which one candidate is a seditionist allowed by the other party to run again is not a real election. It is confirmation of sovereignty lost. It is the final act of a play we’ve been forced to watch for years as grifters swindled Americans by assuring them of justice that never came."

From Washington Post: Schumer’s neutral position has alienated others in the conference. Some Democratic senators are furious at Schumer for having no plan nor message to counter the House Republican bill.
In their idiot minds they think they’re keeping the government running, there’s no nefarious intent. Republicans, on the other hand, have said for years they want to burn the government down. There’s a difference. If you do see it, I can’t help you.
When Bob Dole was Senate minority leader, he was widely recognized as the most powerful Senator. If Schumer was interested in stopping the burning, he could use that power to stop it. He isn’t.
Congratulations, you’ve both sided your way into fascism. Some people are just trying to keep social security checks coming to their retired constituents so they don’t starve. Last I read he’s voting no.
The marketing company I worked for in St. Louis did some greenwashing for a big ag company and I wish people could see the subtle shift in messaging on the climate going from "we can fix it" to "our products are adapting to the changing climate." Survival and resource grabbing are en vogue now.
Humanity, in the past half century, has driven climate change and birthed the climate crisis, which will not be ‘fixed’ in our lifetimes; anyone claiming “we can fix it” is simply NOT being real.
Environmentalism is certainly heroic.
Simultaneously, “adapting to the changing climate” is necessary.
‘Survival’ is what absolutely *every* generation MUST do.
(To say it’s “en vogue now” is, at best, silliness.)
‘Resource grabbing’ (as opposed to *carefully* gathering and *thoughtfully* distributing needed resources) is a function of greed, which is the ultimate evil, imho.

And after everybody is dead how are the elite going to sell us their products and services?

Chuck Schumer is getting a lift over the hump from Fetterman.
Donny and Elmo play The Monopoly Game in the foreground.

I’ll believe he’s voting no when he does it. Not before. He’s simply too unreliable.
